Hello everyone! I found this site and was sooo happy to see familiar faces and names. I'm Ivette Roscoe (McDonald back then), I lived in Panama from 1978-1982, I lived in Ft Clayton. I attended school at Curundu and Balboa and hung out with Diony, Xenia, Elsie, Venus, Angela, and Dulce etc. Unfurtunately I missed Balboa's graduation--we moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina, so I graduated in 1983 from there. I still remember hanging out at the bowling alley, going to the football games, and the youth center on Clayton. It's hard to believe it's been that long. Rae maybe in 2006, we made plans for a big party at the Hoyte's Resort, LOL..... I am trying to get out to the east coast... I got back to Panama every carnival... so most of my vacation is saved for Panama and then in the summer with my family...Eventually I will make out there... I would love to see you guys out on the other side of the map LOL....

Four more years! Four more years! Do we have to wait that long until our next reunion? I had more fun at the Balboa reunion than I did at the high school I actually graduated from. Pedro, thanks for the Red Machine Logo I hope that Paula will be able to use it. I heard that the 1984 Class Reunion was a lot of fun. I may be at the reunion in 2005. I am trying to plan a trip to Panama in 2005 also. Hope everyone is well. Valerie

What up fellow Zonians! I just wanted to let you know I started a new company called CharlieTropics (www.charlietropics.com). We sell thatched shade structures (Bohios) for both backyard and commercial use. With our recent addition of a pool, the idea came about as we were decorating our backyard to give it a “tropical resort” feel. We did some research and added a thatched Tiki Hut over our swim up bar which has now become the focal point of our backyard retreat. The results are outstanding. Everyone who has seen our backyard has been very pleased and especially complimetary of the Bohio-Tiki Hut. So much so, that I decided to begin this very niche side business. Believe it or not, I have the original Red Machine logo. Well, at least the only authentic one that I know of was made. It is taken from a pair of BHS gym shorts. So no, this is not a new drawing or creation, it is the real deal. Paula, you are welcome to copy it if you like. Okay - Let me put the "Bullgod Website" rumor to rest! When I created this site I had every intention of adding the Red Machine Logo. However, as you have probably seen on this and other sites - there is not one to be found. While I am a bulldog through and through I felt it would have only been fair to include Red Machine (even though Bulldogs rule) which is why there are 2 bulldogs in the header at the top page of the page - one is a place holder for red machine logo. So, if anyone has a red machine logo or would like to create a red machine logo, send it to me and I'll put it on the web site.

If there is anyone out there that loves the Red Machine and knows we were the best team at BHS and who knows how to draw, please draw us a team logo!!! I am so sick of reading that this is the Bulldog Website. I have tried to find a Red Machine logo but have been unsuccessful. David, I don't know what dream world you were/are living in, but I don't know where you got your stats that the Red Machine never beat the Bulldogs. I think you better look again!! Much Love!!

Dave, I have consulted with former RED MACHINE players. It was either our junior or senior when I was the fullback, Sparty and Juan Carzola were the running backs, we gave you guys and everyone else a spanking. Okay you are probably still recovering from the blow to your head, LOL... By the way the bulldogs did not have their own identity that is why they took on the schools mascot's name. Peace out..
I'm still looking for the red machine website, does anyone know where I can locate it. As you are aware, the Red Machine has never beaten the Bulldogs then, and will not today. Got a question, does anyone know where Scott Leudke is at these days??? I think I caught sight of him on a website and I am not sure if its him. It said his name and he was in Oxnard, Ca. How many Scott Leudke's could there be??? I've always wondered if he ever made a CD/'record'. He was great at the VFW, I remember those days well.
Also, I realize that this is the class of BHS83 but was wondering if you can add a link to the BHS84. I know that some of us were friends with those people and they are having their 20th this year. I was wanting to check on their status and see them too. Thanks !
Hey gang, I am letting you know, in advance, if you need anything call me. We all had great friends on both teams, it was a great rivalry. But when they started that PCC and CJHS....hmmmmmm.... Gotta love that Red Machine! I have a question for those of you here in Florida, do you know where I can buy Panama beer? I am conducting the search in the Miami, Fla. area and wanted to see if anyone might might know of someone that is located in that vicinity who might be a good match or someone with whom I could network with? I would have been in the class of 83 but as the military does my family left Panama in the summer of 82 for California. I never forgot Panama, to this day I dream of returning one day! I lived on Allbrook AFB from 74 to 82. I remember watching car racing from the hill on wath used to be Allbrook field. Another thing I remember at Balboa is a red garage we used to call it "the shed" at the edge of the campus.
